Do I need programming experience?

No. The workshop is beginner-friendly, and every core concept is explained when you need it. Developers can move faster or extend the projects, while non-developers receive guided setup and a clear mental model for what the code is doing.

What access and installations do I need?

Claude Code is the primary teaching environment and access is required throughout the workshop. The projects, project structure, and reusable AI skills are also compatible with Cursor, so Cursor users can apply the same workflow there. We hand-guide the required Python and Node.js installations, packages, and environment configuration before and during class.

Will I learn how to use AI skills?

Yes. You will learn how to discover, evaluate, install, and use reusable AI skills with Claude Code for planning, frontend work, automation, and verification. Skills are used during the projects rather than taught as an isolated feature demo.

What full-stack application will we build?

You will build and deploy a Next.js AI chat application with authentication, protected access, backend routes, and persistent conversations. Stripe or payment integration is not included in this workshop.

Is the portfolio capstone required for the certificate?

No. The personal portfolio capstone is optional and does not affect your workshop completion certificate. Submissions are due November 29, and selected projects will receive an explainx.ai shout-out.

When are the live sessions?

The four sessions run on November 15, 16, 22, and 23, 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM IST. The workshop page displays the equivalent time in your local timezone. Every session is recorded.

What if I miss a live session?

All sessions are recorded and added to your workshop dashboard. You receive one year of recording access, the project resources, and Melo learning support to review the material and continue building after class.

Claude Code Foundations, Wireframes & HTML Prototypes
Walk through the terminal, files, project structure, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript without dry theory. Learn how to plan with Claude Code, install and use reusable AI skills, sketch a clear wireframe, turn it into a simple interactive browser product, inspect the result, and improve it safely. The same project structure and skill workflow is demonstrated for Cursor users.
