The post does not confirm what OpenAI is releasing tomorrow. It does not say new model, Linux app, voice, UI redesign, or usage reset. Those are theories from developers replying to the teaser and from X's evolving news summary—not release notes.
That distinction matters because Codex has already had a crowded July: GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, and Luna reached general availability on July 9; Codex and ChatGPT Work passed 8 million active users; and OpenAI repeatedly adjusted usage limits under the demand spike. What Tibo confirmed—and carefully did not
The safest reading is narrow:
- Something connected to Codex is coming together.
- The team expects to say or ship something tomorrow.
- Tibo is personally excited about it.
Everything after that is inference. The teaser contains no screenshot, version number, benchmark, supported-platform list, pricing table, or launch link. Even the grammar of "feeling codexy" leaves room for a feature, partnership, developer event, hardware integration, model option, or a broader product milestone.
